Alongside the standard blued versions, the original Colt, Remington, Smith & Wesson, and Winchester models reproduced by Uberti may have different exterior finishes.
Charcoal Blue finishes, delicate but undoubtedly extremely elegant, were for example very common on presentation versions of many black powder, Cap & Ball revolvers. On the other hand, nickel plating finish was a fairly common choice often found on metallic cartridge revolvers.
White or antique finishes are instead options that Uberti has always created, especially for top Hollywood productions, to give to these historically faithful guns an authentic Old West feel, in the hands of some of the best actors who have played in top Western movies of the last 60 years.
