The Uberti Stallion is a scaled-down version of the Cattleman single-action revolver, designed for small or rimfire calibers, offering the classic 1873 aesthetics in a compact frame perfect for training and target shooting.
The Uberti Stallion a "scaled-down" version of legendary Colt 1873 Single Action Army, engineered for those who desire the classic "Peacemaker" aesthetic in a more manageable and economical package.
It maintains the traditional single-action operation, the side loading gate and spring-loaded ejector rod, but is built on a frame that is 25% smaller than the full-sized Uberti Cattleman.
The Stallion is available with a 6 or 10 shots cylinder in .22 Long Rifle, or a 6 shot cylinder in .38 Special. Both caliber variants are available with 4.75 inch or 5.5 inch barrel lengths, and with fixed or adjustable rear sights.
In terms of its field of use, the Stallion is remarkably versatile within the realms of recreation and training. Its reduced weight and minimal recoil make it an ideal introductory firearm for younger shooters or those with smaller hands who might find a full-sized .45 Colt intimidating.
The Stallion has found a dedicated following among Cowboy Action Shooting enthusiasts who use the rimfire version for "Buckaroo" categories or simply for low-cost practice that mimics the manual of arms of their primary competition revolvers.
With its exceptional balance and the high-quality fit and finish for which Uberti is known, the Stallion offers a "real gun" feel that many zinc-alloy rimfire revolvers lack.
